Loosening our Grip

Exo. 2:23 “And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.”

God allowed the burdens to increase upon His people Israel so that they will loosen their grip on Egypt. Because God has prepared a better place for them. For if they have a good life in Egypt, then they will never look forward to the Promised Land.

The same is true why God is allowing our burdens to increase today. Why there is this pandemic, wars and famine around the world today. He is preparing us for His soon return. He wanted us to lose our grip on this world and for us to look forward to our heavenly Promised Land. He has a better place for us. A heavenly one that has been prepared for those that love Him. This is what we look for and this is what we long for. There, there will be no more burdens and we will be filled with joy.
