Jer. 9:24 “But let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, who exercises loving devotion, justice and righteousness on the earth—for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD.”
Based on the verse above, if there is one thing that the Lord had allowed us to boast, that is, to boast that we understand and know Him. Why is this? Because love is actually directly proportional to the knowledge you have about the person. The more you know the person, the more you love him/her. The less you know the person the less you love him/her. So boasting that you love the Lord will actually glorify the Lord more.
Our Lord Jesus wanted to reveal Himself to us fully (Eph. 4:13, 1 Cor. 13:12). This is because He loved us and He wanted us to love Him. People who received many revelations from the Lord are also the people who have the greatest capacity to love the Lord compared to those who received few revelations. The best example of this are the Wise Virgins and the Foolish Virgins. The Wise Virgins are the ones who can love the Lord more since they receive many revelations compared to the Foolish ones. They have more oil. They are the ones who knew the Lord more. This is also the reason why the Wise virgins are Raptured. They have known/love the Lord so much that the Lord cannot leave them behind. For no person that love can leave their love ones behind.
