A PURE HEART – HOW CAN WE HAVE IT?

THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB

The concept of marriage is deeply woven into Scripture, symbolizing the sacred covenant between Christ and His Church. Nowhere is this imagery more profound than in the Book of Revelation, where the “Marriage of the Lamb” represents the ultimate union between the Lord and His faithful Bride.

As believers, we must understand this divine invitation—not merely as a future event but as a present reality in which we actively prepare ourselves. The contrast between the Bride and the Harlot in Revelation serves as a stark warning: will we align ourselves with the pure, righteous Bride, or will we be deceived by the allure of the counterfeit system?

Let’s embark on a journey through Scripture to unpack the significance of this spiritual marriage, the process of preparation, and the battle for truth.

The Bride and the Harlot: A Clear Choice

The Bible consistently uses allegories to distinguish between the true and the false. Just as there is a Bride—the true Church—there is also a Harlot, representing a counterfeit religious system that entices people away from God’s truth. The very existence of a counterfeit confirms the existence of the genuine.

Each believer must make a deliberate choice: Will we remain faithful to Christ and prepare ourselves as His spotless Bride? Or will we be seduced by the false system that prioritizes worldly power, compromise, and deception?

This verse references Rome as Babylon, symbolizing religious corruption and deception. The Harlot represents a system built on human doctrines rather than divine truth. But the Bride of Christ—those who stand on the foundation of truth—are set apart, clothed in fine linen, pure and bright (Revelation 19:8), representing righteousness.

The Wedding and the Marriage: Two Phases

The Marriage of the Lamb, as described in Revelation 19:7, is not a single event but a process, just like any earthly wedding.

This process involves two phases:
1. The Wedding – The invitation to be part of Christ’s Bride, requiring preparation and consecration that is happening now on Earth.
2. The Marriage – The final union with Christ, symbolizing our complete transformation into His likeness that will happen in heaven.

The Three Stages of the Wedding Process

The wedding itself is divided into three key prophetic events:

1. The Shout – The initial call to wake up and prepare.
2. The Voice of the Archangel – The present phase, where God is speaking to His Church through revelation and refinement.
3. The Trumpet of God – The final call when Christ returns to gather His Bride.

Right now, we are living in the Voice of the Archangel phase. This means we are in a season of spiritual preparation—a time of cleansing, testing, and readiness for the final union.

The Joshuanic Ministry: A Call to Spiritual Warfare

The Voice of the Archangel is a war ministry, much like Joshua’s leadership when he led Israel into the Promised Land. The spiritual journey of the Church mirrors Joshua’s conquest—before the promise can be fully received, battles must be fought.

Many believers today feel disappointed when they do not see the same outward miracles as in past generations. They expect signs and wonders but fail to recognize that God is now revealing His power through His Word.

Instead of seeking external miracles, the focus should be on the miracle of the Word transforming hearts. Consider how God has used online preaching, digital evangelism, and Bible revelation—unconventional but powerful ways of ministering His truth in this age.

The Battle for Truth: Facing Scrutiny and Opposition

Truth is not always easy to accept. It is refined through questioning, opposition, and deep scrutiny. Just as gold is purified in fire, our understanding of truth is tested through conflicts and challenges.

This is why the pursuit of truth often leads to disagreements. It is not a sign of division but a refining process. Instead of avoiding difficult conversations, believers should embrace them as opportunities for spiritual growth and greater clarity.

Romans 4:5 and 1 Corinthians 1:30 remind us that righteousness does not come from ourselves—it is given by Christ.

The more we possess Christ, the more we are clothed in fine linen—the righteousness of the saints (Revelation 19:8).

Our ultimate freedom is not just deliverance from sin but from the limitations of this fallen world. There will be no more sickness, no more death and no more restrictions of time and space. The more we embrace truth, the closer we come to this glorified state. This aligns with Ephesians 4:13, which speaks of reaching the fullness of Christ.

The Bride’s Ministry: Feeding the Flock

As part of the Bride of Christ, we have a responsibility. Those who have received deeper revelation are not meant to keep it to themselves.

We are given the “Flying Eagle Anointing”—a prophetic ability to soar above worldly limitations. But with this elevation comes responsibility:
1. Feed those who are still growing in faith.
2. Prepare others for the Marriage of the Lamb.

The Wedding Garments: A Symbol of Readiness

Jesus emphasized this in Matthew 22:2-14, where only those clothed in wedding garments were allowed to attend the feast.

The garment represents righteousness—not mere religious works, but a life transformed by truth.

John, in his awe, attempts to worship the angel, but he is immediately corrected. True servants of God never accept worship—they always point others back to Christ.

This is an important reminder: True prophecy always exalts Jesus. Any teaching or movement that elevates a person above God is false.

Conclusion: Are We Ready?

The Marriage of the Lamb is not just a future event—it is happening now as we prepare. But only those who are fully clothed in righteousness will be chosen.

Pursue truth.
Clothe yourself in righteousness.
Worship God alone.

We are being invited to the greatest union of all time. The question is: Are we ready to be married to our Bridegroom?
