None can Destroy Truth

Hebrews 6:18: “That by two immutable things, in which IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.”

The word “Lie” here means the “opposite of Truth” or “telling the opposite of Truth.” Therefore, this verse is telling us that God cannot contradict Truth for He and Truth are one (John 16:13). In other words, God cannot contradict Himself. And we all know that Truth is the Word of God (John 17:17). Therefore, God cannot contradict His Word.

This is also the reason why no one can destroy Truth. NOT EVEN OUR LORD GOD HIMSELF. To destroy Truth means to destroy Himself. And God cannot kill Himself. This is why Truth is indestructible. And this is also the reason why those who are part of the Truth cannot be destroyed in the Lake of Fire. All children of God are part of Him and that’s why they have Eternal Life and cannot be destroyed in the Lake of Fire.

Another quality of those who are from the Truth is that, they love the Word. For it is written: “Every one that is of the Truth heareth my voice.” (John 18:37c).
