In these tumultuous times, what the Bride of Christ needs more than anything else is not a display of great signs and wonders, but an unwavering commitment to the Word of God and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. We are in an age where deception is widespread, and lies often find more followers than the truth. This is why now, more than ever, the Bride needs ministers who have the strength to stand firm in the truth, regardless of the consequences. Ministers who are not seeking after signs but who are grounded in the Word, courageous enough to raise the banner of truth, even if many turn away from them.
The Call for Faithful Ministers
What the Bride needs are ministers who are willing to lead, who will stand up for the Word of God, and who are even willing to suffer for its sake. In this era, where compromise is rampant and many are content with a diluted version of the truth, it is essential to have ministers who are not afraid to walk the narrow path. These are ministers who, like Christ, will endure hardship, criticism, and rejection for the sake of the gospel, knowing that their reward is not in the applause of men but in the approval of God.
I praise God for providing us with such ministers—those who have not bowed to the pressures of the world but have stood firm on the unchanging truths of the Bible. These are the ministers the Bride of Christ desperately needs, especially as greater deceptions loom on the horizon.
Greater Deceptions to Come
The Bride of Christ is not ignorant of the schemes of the enemy. Scripture warns us that greater deceptions will come. There will be those who rise up, claiming to be prophets today and, in the future, claiming even more extraordinary things, perhaps even claiming direct communication with God Himself. Some may say they are part of the Seven Thunders, and then later, claim that their sons or associates are as well. New and strange doctrines will emerge, and many will be led astray. As 2 Thessalonians 2:11 says,
“God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”
But the Bride of Christ is not deceived. She knows that before the Groom returns, there will be a great falling away (2 Thessalonians 2:3). She is not surprised by the growing apostasy or by the increasing number of false doctrines. She is prepared.
The Eagle Anointing
The Bride is like an eagle, anointed with the Eagle Anointing. This is the Spirit of discernment that comes from her intimate knowledge of the Word of God and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Just as an eagle can soar high above and see clearly what happens below, so too can the Bride see the deceptions of the enemy from her heavenly vantage point.
Wings of discernment: She is given two great wings, which represent her ability to rise above the lies and deceptions that try to pull her down.
Claws of the Word: Her sharp claws symbolize her firm grip on the Word of God. She knows how to hold tightly to the truth, and nothing can tear it from her grasp.
Beak of Revelation: Her sharp beak signifies her ability to digest and live out the revelations of God’s Word, transforming her into the image of Christ.
Eyes of the Spirit: Her eyes, like the eagle’s, are sharp and discerning. She sees clearly, and she cannot be fooled by the lies and deceptions swirling around her.
Standing Strong Amid the Falling Away
The Bride knows that her Groom is coming, but He is not coming in a time of revival or when the world is filled with hope. He will come at a time when many have lost hope, when many have fallen away from the true faith. The Bride understands this deeply because she has been united with the Word—her Groom. She is one with Him, knowing His heart, His timing, and His promises. She is aware that the time of His return will be marked by the great falling away of those who once professed faith.
However, the Bride is not afraid. She is not shaken by the false teachings, the deceptions, or the falling away of others. She knows that nothing can separate her from the love of her Groom (Romans 8:35-39). She is secure in His love, equipped with His truth, and confident in His return. Her focus remains on Him, and she endures through every trial, knowing that at the end of it all, the truth will always prevail.
A Call to Stand Firm
In these times, when so many are led astray by false teachings and strange doctrines, the Bride of Christ must hold fast to the Word of God. She must pray for discernment and walk closely with the Holy Spirit. And we must be thankful for those ministers who remain faithful, who refuse to compromise the truth for the sake of popularity or gain. These are the men and women whom God has raised up for this hour, to lead the Bride in faithfulness and purity.
The Bride of Christ is in a time of preparation, and her Groom is coming soon. We are called to be ready, to stand firm, and to hold fast to the truth. Let us continue to walk in the light of God’s Word, knowing that the days ahead may be difficult, but His grace is sufficient to carry us through.
Let us praise the Lord for His provision, His guidance, and the certainty of His promises. The truth will always prevail.
Amen.
