You can still preach about healing
While you yourself is quietly bleeding
You can tell people to praise God,
While you are devastatingly sad
You tell people to be faithful
While your own heart is full of trouble
You can still pray for one’s breakthrough
While asking God, when it will be you?
You learn to smile after worship
But your own depression is too deep
You tell people not to give up
But deep inside, you want to blow-up
It’s okay,
Nobody will ever know, but Him and you
You’re called not for life to be easy
But to follow and serve Him daily
And here’s what you must remember
Everytime you pray, oh believer
Our Lord God Who called and chose you,
Is much accountable to you too.
So don’t confuse the ministry
To pain and hurt, you got immunity
Sat with your Lord, tell all you can
It’s not weakness, it means you’re human
You’re allowed to cry, while preaching joy
You’re allowed to break, while they enjoy
You’re allowed to be sick, while teaching healing
You’re allowed to rest, while being a blessing
Because you’re not called to be a Healer
You’re not called to be a hope-giver
You are never called to be a Savior
That’s all the roles of our Creator
What you are called is point the people
To their true Healer and true Savior
And sometimes that person you point to
Includes the most important one – YOU
