1 Cor. 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
Two days ago, I attended my wife’s graduation ceremony. It is all joy, happiness, laughter and rejoicing especially when the university President acknowledges the hard work and dedication of the graduates in finishing their course. I can see that their President was so proud shaking their hands while giving their diplomas. We, the parents and the relatives present at that time were so proud too! I can’t help but be proud knowing all the hardships and sacrifices my wife has gone through to receive that diploma.
This made me to also think about our graduation ceremony someday when we finish our course here on Earth. If earthy graduations are this joyous, how much more is the heavenly one! There, each person who has been a good servant on this earth will be praised by our Lord “Well done my good and faithful servant”(Mat. 25:23). What joyous moment would that be! There will be no sadness during that time for the verse above says “then shall every man have praise of God.” What comforting words are these! That our Lord Jesus will be looking for something that He can praise to each and every one of us! So let’s run our race well and finish our course!
