Rev. 11:15 “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
The verse tells us about “the kingdom (singular) of this world” not kingdoms (plural). So there is only one kingdom of this world, and that is the kingdom of Satan. This is also the reason why Satan offered this kingdom to the Lord when he tempted Him. As written in Mat. 4:8 “Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them.”
All the kingdoms of this world are of Satan. Many people think that Satan is controlling Russia and the Lord is controlling the United States. The truth is, all of the kingdoms of this world are Satan’s. It is therefore called in Revelation 11:15 the Kingdom—not kingdoms—of the world. It is the totality of a civilization and society of which men boast of self-improvement but which becomes more godless and wicked each day. It is a condemned civilization that is moving toward judgment.
