2 Kings 8:1 “Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life, “Go away with your family and stay for a while wherever you can, because the LORD has decreed a famine in the land that will last seven years.”
If you have noticed, 2 Kings 8:1-6 have similarities with Revelation 12. In Revelation 12, it speaks of a woman who had a son that will rule all the nations of the world. This woman is Israel and the child (that was also raised from the dead) is no other than the Lord Jesus.
This woman, Rev. 12:6 tells us, will be forced to leave the land of Israel during the 7-year great tribulation while she hides, protected in the wilderness. But at the end of that 7 years Israel will return to the land and like the woman in 2 Kings 8:1-6, the King will declare an official decree stating that all that this woman has lost will be returned to her… and more! This will be Israel’s position during the Messianic Kingdom where she is once again honored and possesses all the land that God initially promised unto her (Gen 15:18).
