Mal. 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
We are God’s treasures. He will make us as His jewels. We are His “treasured possessions” (Deut. 7:6). One day, we will be revealed as “stone most precious, clear as crystal” (Rev. 21:11). Those precious stones when built together, will form a City made of precious stone which is no other than “The Holy City, New Jerusalem” – the Bride of Christ (Rev. 21:9).
Some of us are gold, some are jasper, some are topaz, sapphire, emerald, etc., (Rev. 21:18-21). We will all appear to be as precious stones, clear as crystal. But just like how precious stones are made, we need to experience extreme Heat and Pressure for a long period of Time. These three elements (Heat, Pressure, Time), are essential ingredients in making precious stones. And right now, the Master Jeweler is making us.
