A PURE HEART – HOW CAN WE HAVE IT?

UNITY OF THE FAITH

Spread the love

By Bro. Andrew Murray D. Durano

INTRODUCTION

For many years now, despite the constant prodding of numerous brothers and sisters in the Faith that I should write the things I saw while studying the Scriptures, I steadfastly resisted them. I just do not think I am capable of writing spiritual things. One of the reasons is because my writings might “collide” with the writings of other brothers in same precious Faith, much more of the writings of the ministers I revere the most. I really do not want that to happen.

Recent events in my life, however, has made me evaluate my calling. Unexpectedly and in one quick sweep, I lost everything I love. It is very hard and painful. And I was put in a situation where only two things are left for me to choose: 1) To rebel and curse God for what is happening to me which is really unfair and unjust; or 2) Cling to God and trust His ways and wisdom and find out what He wanted me to do. And by the grace of God, I never considered option number 1. All along my sufferings and pains, down in my heart I only want to be closer to God. I prayed and meditated for many days. And I know that God is now pushing me out of my comfort zone, as the mother eagle stirreth her nest to teach her young to fly. And it is time for me to fly and do my Father’s business. Personally, I do not think I am ready yet. But I just trust God where leads me to.

During my prayers and meditations, I remember the words of my brothers and sisters who were once prodding me to write. They were saying that God will surely require from me of the unused talent He entrusted me. While I do not consider writing as my talent, some people saw it differently. And two nights ago, while meditating whether I should write or not, something down in my heart told me to just WRITE. And I remember some subjects in which I saw differently what others saw before me. Immediately, without much thinking, I posted in Facebook what was in my heart. And after a day is passed, I was blaming myself why I posted it on Facebook. Now I am pressured to write… because many had seen my post and they are expecting it.

This is my first article after God has pushed me out of my comfort zone. I am writing about the Unity of the Faith…. and how the enemy has been using it to subtly advance the Nicolaitan spirit among the sincere children of God. By the help of God, I am hoping I can unmask the work of the enemy.

Please continue to pray for me. The pain still lingers. I am still suffering. But I thank God for His grace that He give me the strength to go on.

May God bless you as you read this article. To God be all the glory and honor.

Scriptures

Ephesians 4:1-16 KJV

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

In the Scriptures quoted above (Eph. 4:1-16), two “unities” are mentioned by apostle Paul, namely:

1. Unity of the Spirit (verse 3); and,

2. Unity of the Faith (verse 13).

The word translated as “unity” in English, in both verses, comes from the Greek word “henotēs” which means “oneness” or figuratively “uninamity” or “agreement”. Interestingly, the word “henotēs” occurs only twice in the Bible, and that is in Eph. 4:3 &13 only! “Henotēs” must be a peculiar and special word and it demands special attention. This reminds me of the Greek word “theopneustos” which occurs only once in the Bible and it is found in 2 Timothy 3:16 translated in English as “is given by inspiration of God”. The meaning of “theopneustos”, however, is “divinely breathed in”. Thus, many words preached by men throughout the ages are truly inspired of/by God, yet only the Scriptures are theopneustos (divinely breathed in) by God!

In like manner, “unity” is perhaps just a common word and its usages are so popular and widespread. Countless adages and proverbs centering on “unity” have been formed and invented by wise men throughout history. But the “unity” found in Ephesians 4:2 & 13 must be peculiar. And apostle used it only in describing the Body of Christ, the Church.

POPULAR INTERPRETATION

It is commonly understood by MANY ministers and believers alike, both in the denominations and in the Message movement, that the “unity” mentioned in the 4th chapter of Ephesians means ‘equal measure’ or ‘uniformity’. Thus, it is assumed that “unity of the faith” means “equal measure of faith or revelation”. And it is assumed and argued that ALL members of the Bride of Christ (Body of Christ) must have UNIFORM or EQUAL MEASURE of Faith or Revelation before the rapture would happen. And accordingly, without the so-called UNIFORMITY or EQUAL MEASURE of revelation or faith in each and every member of the Body of Christ, the rapture will not happen.

The question is, WHOSE MEASURE of Faith or Revelation the believers must aspire to attain to? It could not be the faith and/or revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, because IF each and every member of the Bride of Christ has revelation or faith equal in measure with that of the Lord Jesus, then the Bride or Body of Christ would be BIGGER and GREATER than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. That is a gross error, if not a blasphemy!

Every so often we hear or read from some renown and “big” ministers, both in the denominations and in the Message, that God gave them “revelation” of something… and they would preach it or write it in a book. And because what they have is a “revelation” from God, all believers have no choice but to toe the line with their “revelations”. When others see it differently than them (big ministers), most often they would run down those who have different views, as if they (big ministers) are the only persons authorized to have revelations from God. This is the same reasoning employed by the fanatics of Bro. Branham. They assume that ALL words and teachings/preaching of bro. Branham are PURE REVELATION from God, thus, all believers MUST toe the line and just ACCEPT, AGREE, and BELIEVE what they hear or read from bro. Branham without examining it by the Word. Unknown to them, this is where the nicolaitan spirit subtly infiltrated and subsisted in the Message… and even in some honest and sincere ministers and believers… people who openly profess to have hated the nicolaitan spirit, even branhamism!

DISCOVERIES VS THEORIES/REVELATION VS ELUCIDATION

Scientific discoveries of facts are realities of our physical world and there is no reason to question them. When scientists and archaeologists unearthed and/or discovered the bones of some prehistoric men, those are facts. They are real. Unlike scientific discoveries, scientific theories are trying to explain and make sense of those discoveries of facts. And oftentimes, scientific theories overshoot if not fall short of the truth. Scientific theories are not facts, thus, we should consider them with a grain of salt. Some of the theories are just “educated speculations” to explain the discoveries of facts. As an example, when Charles Darwin observed the finches (birds) in the Galapagos Islands, his discoveries and observations are FACTS. But when he tried to extrapolate his observations to make sense of it, he formulated a theory of the “Origin of Species by Natural Selection”. As believers, we know for a fact that Darwin’s theory of “Origin of Species by Natural Selection” is a stretch as it would contradict the creation accounts in Genesis.

The same is true with Revelation from God. When Jesus asked His disciples who is He, Peter answered, “Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God” (Matt. 16:16). And that is a revelation from God. Jesus said so. And that ROCK of revelation is where the Church is founded upon. That means, all of those who are born into the Body (church) must have that same revelation with that of apostle Peter of who Jesus is!

Now, what if Jesus asked Peter to EXPLAIN and ELUCIDATE his revelation that “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Peter’s explanation would perhaps make a thick book, as he would attempt to explain the Godhead among others. But Peter’s elucidation of the revelation God gave him is not inerrant. Human thinking and opinions would be involved as he would try to explain God’s revelation. Elucidation or explanation of God’s genuine revelation, therefore, contains human opinions, reasoning, and conclusions which are possibly errant.

For instance, God has revealed many things to bro. Branham. One of them is the Godhead. In elucidating God’s revelation of the Godhead to him, brother Branham used many human reasoning, terminologies and analogies. That is the reason why those who parrot bro. Branham could not even see eye to eye on the doctrine of Godhead. They quarrel among themselves, armed with different quotes of bro. Branham!

So, how can we catch the right revelation? It is the Holy Spirit in us who would react and connect the words we hear or read to the Scriptures, making us see the revelation. Does the revelation we have from God about Who Jesus is in relation to the Godhead equal in measure? It is not. As an example of this reality, some of us got saved when we are yet in the denomination believing the Trinity. Yet we have the right revelation of Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the Living God. You cannot be saved or be born to the Body without that “rock of revelation” where the church of God is founded upon.

Yes, it is true that God gives revelations to some “big” ministers we know and revere most. But their elucidations of those revelations are not fool proof. They sure have their human opinions and conclusions as they try to explain and expound to make sense of the revelations. Thus, we ordinary believers and members of the Body of Christ must not just AGREE, ACCEPT, and BELIEVE the ministers’ explanations contained in their preaching and books. While God’s Revelations are infallible, their explanations are not. Accordingly, we should examine them by the Word, with the Holy Spirit IN US guiding and teaching us into all truth. We should not become disabled members of the Body of Christ, victimized by the explanations and theories of men.

And if those “big” ministers are running us down just because we do not agree with their reasoning, theories and explanations, we know that the spirit behind them is a Nicolaitan spirit. To the “big” ministers, it is my aspiration that you just preach, teach, and write what God has revealed to you. Notwithstanding the human opinions and conclusions that may be involved in your explanation of the said revelation, just pray that God would make us see the revelation, not the opinions of man. Do not ever try to impose authority and control over God’s revelation to us, the believers. That will never work. God alone can reveal spiritual truths to His children.

THE FALSE UNITY: UNIFORMITY UNDER MAN’S HEADSHIP

As to where did this doctrine of UNITY as “UNIFORMITY” or “EQUAL MEASURE OF FAITH OR REVELATION IN EACH AND EVERY BELIEVER” came from, it could not be from the Scriptures. Because an honest and sincere reading of Ephesians 4:1-16, 1 Cor. 12:4-31, and 1 Cor. 1:10-17 would not give any serious student of the Word that impression, much more that interpretation. Without a doubt, this view is an offshoot of the UNITY in Babel, when people built a TOWER to have a NAME for themselves… a unity under Nimrod, unity under human headship. That doctrine was then picked up by the Mystery Babylon in installing the Papacy, the supposedly successor of the apostle Peter. Look at the Mystery Babylon’s understanding of the unity of the faith,

“The unity of faith is manifested by all the faithful professing their adhesion to one and the same object of faith. All admit that God, the Supreme Truth, is the primary author of their faith, and from their explicit willingness to submit to the same external authority to whom God has given the power to make known whatever has been revealed, their faith, even in truths explicitly unknown, is implicitly external. All are prepared to believe whatever God has revealed and the Church teaches.”

(https://www.catholic.org/encyclopedia/view.php?id=11813)

Can you see the subtle reasoning of the Mystery Babylon? It always ends up in “external authority to whom God has given the power to make known whatever has been revealed”! That is human headship and control!

ONENESS IS NOT UNIFORMITY OR EQUALITY

We know that the word “unity” in Eph. 4:3 &13 comes from the Greek word “henotēs” which means “oneness”. And from it, the doctrine of Uniformity or Equality is being advanced. But does “oneness” means “uniform” or “equal”? Let us examine it in the light of the Scriptures.

In the 17th chapter of John, verse 11, Jesus uttered these words of prayer to His Father,

“And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.”

And in John 10:30, Jesus plainly said,

“I and my Father are one.”

As you can see, Jesus expressly said His ONENESS with His Father. Does that mean Jesus is EQUAL or has equal revelation with His Father?

John 14:28

“Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.”

Despite their Oneness, Jesus said they are NOT EQUAL, as His Father is greater than Him.

Mark 13:32

“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”

Jesus’ Oneness with the Father does not make Him equal in revelation with His Father… as there are things the Father knows that He does not.

Accordingly, oneness (unity) of the believers is not about uniformity or equality.

UNITY OF THE SPIRIT

Ephesians 4:1-3

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Apostle Paul is writing to the believers in Ephesians. And he reminded them to walk worthy of their VOCATION or CALLING, with all humility, patience, and consideration of their fellow believers… making every effort to KEEP the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Apostle Paul is clearly saying that all believers are UNITED IN THE SPIRIT, and it is the responsibility of each believer to strive to KEEP the unity of the Spirit IN THE BOND OF PEACE. Corollarily, apostle Paul is also saying that Unity of the Spirit can also subsist but the bond uniting the believers may not be of PEACE. Such thing must be avoided by the believers at all cost.

How did the Unity of the Spirit happen? We will let apostle speak on this. In 1 Corinthians 12:13-14, he states,

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many.”

It is clear that Unity of the Spirit refers to the ONE Spirit whereby we are all baptized, making us members of ONE Body. It refers to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit or being Born Again. When a person is being baptized of the Holy Spirit or being born again, the very LIFE of God (Spirit is life Rom. 8:10) is imparted to him. Does it mean that ALL the Life (Spirit) of God is imparted to the said believer? Of course not. Only the Lord Jesus Christ Who has the Spirit of God without measure (John 3:34).

In the same 12th chapter of 1 Corinthians verses 4-10, apostle Paul says,

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

And in verse 11, the KJV renders it,

“But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”

The Revised Standard Version (RSV) translates the verse as,

“All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.”

It is very clear that notwithstanding the “different measures” or “diversities of gifts and operations” there is the Unity of the Spirit. Unity of the Spirit, therefore, IS NOT UNIFORMITY or EQUAL MEASURE OF SPIRIT in each of the believers. Unity of the Spirit means HARMONY among the different measures, manifestations, and/or operations of ONE and THE SAME Spirit in the believers!

Unity of the Spirit happens right at the beginning of the believers’ walk in their newness of life. It is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the one that is responsible in placing the believers into ONE Body. It refers to the New Birth. Now, at birth, an infant’s body parts are complete and are properly placed and positioned. But not all the parts of the infant’s body are functioning as they ought to. An infant has feet, yet he cannot walk. He has eyes, but it takes days or months for his eyes to function significantly. An infant body and its parts thereof needs to be NOURISHED and DEVELOPED so that they can function and MATURE.

In the same manner, believers in their infancy in the faith are already UNITED IN ONE BODY by ONE SPIRIT, yet they needed to be DEVELOPED and EQUIPPED for the ministry and for MATURITY (proper functioning of the Body parts). That is the main and primary MANDATE and FUNCTION of the Fivefold or Ascension Gifts Ministry in Eph. 4:11-16.

UNITY OF THE FAITH

Ephesians 4:11-16 NKJV

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,

12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting,

15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

While the Unity of the Spirit happens at the START or INFANCY of the believers, the Unity of the Faith materializes when the believers are DEVELOPED and EQUIPPED to MATURITY. Unity of the Faith happens in the believers’ ADULTHOOD so-to-speak. And it is the Fivefold or Ascension Gifts Ministry that would DEVELOP and EQUIP the believers so that they can reach MATURITY.

Reaching maturity, however, does not mean that each and every believer would have THE SAME MEASURE or UNIFORM revelation or faith. That is not what the text in Eph. 4:13 says. On the contrary, it means that the different parts of the Body, however small or big they may be, should function properly and be in synch and in proper coordination with the whole body in accordance with the various and diverse information (revelation) transmitted to them from the brain (Head, the Lord Jesus Christ). The kidneys do not need the signal or information (revelation) the brain (head) is transmitting to the heart for it to pump faster or slower according to the need of the Body, as they (kidneys) have their unique signal and information from the brain too… to filter the blood and to excrete the waste out of the body via the urinary system. In the same manner, a simple believer in the church does not need to have EQUAL MEASURE of revelation with that of apostle Paul or Bro. Branham, else he will become an Apostle to Gentiles or the 7th Star Messenger! And it is to be noted that the heart cannot control the kidneys and vice versa. It is the BRAIN (Head) alone who controls each and every part of the Body. There is no such thing as EXTERNAL CONTROL in the true believers.

What about the “till we come to unity of the faith and the unity of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”, isn’t it “uniform or equal measure of revelation” in each and every members of the Body of the Son of God? No, it is not. As I have pointed above, if every member of the Bride (Body) of Christ has equal measure of revelation with that of Jesus Christ Himself, then the many-membered Body of Christ must be exponentially GREATER than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Let us say there are 1,000 members of the Body of Christ, each member has equal measure of revelation or faith with that of the Lord Jesus Himself, then the Body of Christ is 1,000 times greater than Jesus Christ! That is a gross error.

The “unity of the knowledge of the Son of God” means each and every member of the Body of Christ has reached their full potential or maturity according to their respective and various “measures”. The verse itself says “unto a perfect man, to the MEASURE of the stature of the FULLNESS of Christ”. We are also “christs” or anointed. When we reached maturity in the Word and have reached our full potential as MEMBERS or PARTS of the Body of Christ, then we have “henotēs” in the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

But 1 Cor. 1:10 says,

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Isn’t that UNIFORMITY of mind or revelation? No. On the contrary, apostle Paul was rebuking the believers in Corinthians on their carnality. They cannot see the true unity of the believers. Some of them said they are of Paul. Others said they are of Apollos. They failed to see the unity behind the distinction and variation of functions of ministers. Just because Apollos’ style is different from Paul does not mean there is no unity. That is Paul’s argument as he admonished the believers in Corinthians. Both Paul and Apollos are co-workers in God’s vineyard, notwithstanding their distinctions in ministering. Both of them are UNITED in Christ…. Because Christ is never divided!

True Unity in the Faith is where distinctions subsist, but divisions ceased. It is when the Head has FULL CONTROL of the Body.

CONTROL AND AUTHORITY OF THE BELIEVERS

Proverbs 30:27 NLT

Locusts—they have no king, but they march in formation.

Have you wondered HOW the locusts fly in swarms and in an orderly and sophisticated manner yet without a leader or king? The Bible says “they march in formation”. They are even called “God’s Army” by the prophet Joel. And in Joel 2:7-8 NKJV, it says,

“7 They run like mighty men,

They climb the wall like men of war;

Every one marches in formation,

And they do not break ranks.

8 They do not push one another;

Every one marches in his own column.

Though they lunge between the weapons,

They are not cut down.”

How did the locusts do that? It becomes obvious that there is something INSIDE of the locusts that controls and guides their every move. It is inherent in them… it is in their NATURE. It is in the “stuff” they are made of. And the Scriptures are mentioning those characteristics of the locust because God is telling us something. God is telling us that He can control His creatures from the INSIDE…. and external control is no more necessary.

In the Old Testament, God gave man the Law through Moses. The Law is the authority and the means to control the actions of man. But the Law did not change man. It only made man hypocrite…. as INSIDE of him is evil, yet he acted differently so as not to be caught by the Law. Thus, the Bible declares that under the Law, NO ONE is justified.

What did God do? He did to man (believers) what He did to the locusts, that is, putting the Law in the believer’s heart so that it became his new nature, his authority and control! Let’s read some Scriptures stating this very truth.

Hebrews 8:8-12

8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

1 John 2:27

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

You see, it is the very LIFE of God (God’s Spirit) that is imparted to us that made us New Creatures with new hearts and minds wherewith the Laws of God are EMBEDDED in them and became our New Nature. As true believers, that very Life of God IN US is the sole AUTHORITY and CONTROL over us. The Bible says that we do not need that someone teach us… because the same ANOINTING (Holy Spirit) teaches us of ALL THINGS. This does not mean that we do not have teachers and preachers in the church. Of course, we still have anointed human teachers and preachers in the church. But even how anointed and gifted our teachers and preachers are, they could not give revelation to us… because true revelation comes from God alone. Thus, it all boils down to our RESIDENT INTERNAL Teacher, the Holy Spirit, on how we (or He) reacts to the Word preached or taught by our anointed teachers and preachers in the church. When what our anointed teacher or preacher said would connect to our RESIDENT INTERNAL Teacher and as it dovetails with the Scriptures, a true REVELATION occurs. “The Deep calleth to the Deep!” True revelation is a personal spiritual “experience”. And it comes right from our RESIDENT INTERNAL Teacher, the Holy Spirit, as He reacts to the Word being preached, taught, or read.

What about those ministers who are hell bent in controlling the believers? They are under the spell of Nicolaitan spirit for sure. The Bible says, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY (2 Cor. 3:17). How clearer can that be.

CONCLUSION

Both unity of the Spirit and unity of the Faith in Eph. 4:3 &13 cannot be “uniformity” or “equal measures” of Spirit or Faith/Revelations. The Bible is very clear that God has imparted His Spirit to us “severally as He will”. True Unity of the Faith is “harmony” among the many members of ONE Body… when all parts of the Body are in synch and well-coordinated in accordance with the various signals and information (revelation) transmitted to them from/by the Brain (Head). True Unity of the Faith is when there are distinctions of the functions of every parts, yet without division, schism, or disharmony. The Fivefold Ministry must be the ENABLER or EQUIPPER of every parts of the Body, EMPOWERING them to their full potentials as they reached maturity.

As believers, we should make our calling and election sure. We must know where God has put us… we must know our ministry in the Body of Christ. Bro. Branham said, “stay in your post”. Do not worry should Jesus Christ come tomorrow or any time. Just stay in your post. Those who are called as ministers, answer the calling and do the service Gods wants you to do. But to those who are not called as ministers, please do not answer! There are those who claimed they are pastors, but they are not… it is because they just assumed they are called to be pastors but the truth they are never called.

We are in the end of the endtime. We are living in a “borrowed” time, so-to-speak. As foretold by the Lord Jesus Himself, the world’s condition is now becoming like in the days of Noah, in which men think evil in their hearts continually, and of Lot where homosexuality became the norms. And these fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy happened right in our very eyes. It would not be long, the Lord Jesus will snatch us away!

Do not wait for the time that we, as members of the Body of Christ, all have uniform or equal measure of revelation or faith. That will never happen. Instead, let us strive to come in the unity of the Faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God by becoming mature, reaching our full potentials as members of the Body of Christ. Amen.
