The doctrine that Mary is just a surrogate mother of our Lord Jesus is an UNBIBLICAL and UNFOUNDED doctrine. You cannot find anywhere in the Bible that says or just even hinted that Mary is just a surrogated mother of our Lord. Not in the Old Testament and not in the New. Not even a shadow of it. Nowhere. Even if you reread and reread the Bible many times.

The Apostles never taught it nor even mentioned it once. Apostle James who is the brother himself of our Lord Jesus Christ never once taught that his mother Mary is just a surrogate mother of his brother. That’s why I can’t believe why many ministers (both true and false ministers) and believers alike are defending this unbiblical doctrine with their life. They are exerting too much effort on this doctrine that not even a shadow is found in the Bible.

But the opposite of this is actually the truth. The Bible has given us enough evidences, no, not just enough, but TONS of verses telling us that Mary was not a surrogate mother of our Lord Jesus but His BIOLOGICAL mother.

BIBLICAL EVIDENCE THAT MARY IS THE BIOLOGICAL MOTHER OF OUR LORD JESUS

1. THE BODY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS MADE OF A WOMAN

Gal. 4:4 “But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, MADE OF A WOMAN, made under the law.”

Contrary to what others are teaching that a fetus or zygote or embryo (for those who preach and teach this cannot even reconcile within themselves if it is a fetus, zygote or embryo) that was put in the womb of Mary is made out of nothing. Galatians 4:4 is crystal clear. This verse is telling us that every aspect of our Lord’s physical body, when He was yet in the womb of Mary, is MADE OF A WOMAN. Nothing is made from nothing.

2. THE BODY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE FRUIT OF THE WOMB OF MARY

Luke 1:42 “And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and BLESSED IS THE FRUIT OF THY WOMB.”

Read the above verse again slowly and louder. Is there anything in there that told you that the body of our Lord in the womb of Mary is the fruit of nothing? This verse is again crystal clear! Every aspect of our Lord’s physical body when it was still in the womb of Mary is the fruit of her womb, meaning MADE FROM HER WOMB and not the “fruit of nothing” as some ministers taught us that it is made from nothing.

If we will just actually make these verses as our absolute, then no one can deceive us from the teaching that the body of our Lord is made out of nothing.

3. MARY IS THE MOTHER OF JESUS AND NOT JUST HIS SURROGATE MOTHER

Mat. 1:18 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as HIS MOTHER MARY was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”

Mat. 2:13 “And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young CHILD AND HIS MOTHER, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”

Mat. 2:20 “Saying, Arise, and take the young CHILD AND HIS MOTHER, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child’s life.”

Luk. 2:34 “And Simeon blessed them, and said unto MARY HIS MOTHER, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;”

Acts 1:14 “These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and MARY THE MOTHER OF JESUS, and with his brethren.”

But those who taught that Mary is just a surrogate mother of our Lord will twist these many verses by teaching that the meaning of the phrase “Mary the mother of Jesus” is actually “Mary the surrogate mother of Jesus”. They will twist these verses by adding the word “surrogate”.

Applying these twisting of verses to other verses of the Bible, then they might as well apply that twisting also every time the phrase “the mother of…” is present.  For example, if what they are saying is true, then Mark 15:47 that says,

“And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid”

can also mean:

“And Mary Magdalene and Mary the surrogate mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.”

Look how absurd is this adding of words to the verses! They are twisting the true meaning of verses just to suit their unscriptural doctrine.

Even the Prophet Isaiah recognized that the Lord Jesus has a mother. And that He was named from the body of His mother:

Isaiah 49:1 “Listen to Me, you islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The LORD called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.”

4. MARY CONCEIVED OUR LORD JESUS

Isa. 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall CONCEIVE, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Luke 2:21 “And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was CONCEIVED in the womb.”

Luke 1:31 “And, behold, thou shalt CONCEIVE in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.“

You see? Mary did not just bear and gave birth to a son. She did not just surrogated a son. SHE CONCEIVES! Now, do you know what it means to conceive? Do you think putting a fetus or a zygote or an embryo or both sperm cell and egg cell that are made out of nothing inside the womb of Mary is called CONCEPTION? If a zygote for example, was put in the womb of Mary without using her own egg cell, do you think she conceive? Is this considered as conceiving? It would be foolish of you if your answer to these questions is “Yes”. It will only mean that you don’t know anything about CONCEPTION.

I can actually put many other evidences that tell us that Mary is the BIOLOGICAL mother of our Lord Jesus and not a surrogate mother. But the space on this article will not allow it. I encourage you to read your Bible to see them.

We will now go to the subject about HOW DID MARY CONCEIVE OUR LORD IN HER WOMB? What did the “Power of the Highest” do in order to form the body of our Lord inside Mary’s womb? Did God really make the body of our Lord out of nothing as some ministers are teaching? Let’s consult the Bible about these.

HOW DID MARY CONCEIVE OUR LORD IN HER WOMB?

According to Luke 1:30-36

“30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.”

According to verse 31, the Angel Gabriel told Mary that she will going to conceive. And how will this conceiving happen? According again to Angel Gabriel in verse 35, first the Holy Ghost shall come to Mary, then the Power of the Highest shall overshadow her.

To understand this, our next questions should be: What actually happens when the Power of the Highest overshadowed Mary? What does it mean by “OVERSHADOWING?”.

As I always said in most of my written articles, if we wanted to have a better understanding of the spiritual things, we need to look at the natural ones first for they are the types and shadows of the spiritual. First, it will happen to the natural, then to the spiritual (1 Cor. 15:46).

And did you know, Mary is not the first one to experience the “overshadowing”? Yes, this overshadowing had already happened before! We can read in the Bible that the first “overshadowing” happened in the natural. What happened to Mary is only the secondary. First to the natural, then to the spiritual. 

I will then bring you to this first overshadowing that happened to our natural world so that we will understand better what happens to Mary’s overshadowing.

THE FIRST OVERSHADOWING

According to Strong’s Concordance, the word “overshadow” came from the Greek Word “episkiazō” which means:

1. to cast a shade or shadow,
2. by analogy, to envelop in a haze of brilliancy
3. figuratively, to invest with preternatural influence

So when did the first overshadowing happen? Base on the definition above, the first overshadowing of the Power of the Highest happened in Genesis chapter 1, on planet Earth itself. In our natural world.

In Genesis 1:1 we read, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Along this creation is also the creation of angels, their story and their testing and trials. And we have known that one-third of them failed, and they make war on God. They are led by Lucifer who became Satan – the adversary of God. After which they have been cast down by God here on Earth. Then Earth was never the same again. They destroy it and create havoc over the creatures here. And so, according to Genesis 1:2:

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

The Earth became void and darkness was upon it. It was also covered by the waters. But then the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The word “moved” in that verse came from the Hebrew word “râchaph” which means “to hover, to brood.” To hover unto something means “to cast a shade or shadow to that something” while “to brood” is what the birds are doing to their eggs or hatchlings, that is, they sit or cover their eggs or hatchlings to incubate them!

So can you see now what was our Lord’s Spirit doing upon the Earth at that time? He is overshadowing it! This is the first overshadowing that happened. It happened first to the natural world. You are as blind as a bat if you can’t see what’s happening here.

What did the Lord do to Earth after it was destroyed by Satan and his demons? First, He came to Earth then overshadowed it. But wait. Did the Angels stop Him to come to Earth? Did the Angels said “Lord, don’t go to Earth! It is full of sin and darkness! You can’t do anything on it! You will only be defiled if You go to Earth! Sin and darkness on Earth will only corrupt You! You can’t restore it.”

Do you think the Angels said these to the Lord? Or did they even think about these just like what most ministers are thinking today that our Lord Jesus will be defiled if the egg cell of Mary will be used for His physical body? Foolish men! Did God become sinful upon contact with the sinful and darkened Earth? Or did the opposite happen? That Earth bring forth life and its darkness was extinguished after God contacted it? Does our Lord have no power to extinguish sin and corruption? What foolish doctrine indeed! Only foolish ministers will think like this. For them, God can be defiled.

THE POWER OF THE HIGHEST

Now, what is this “Power of the Highest” that overshadowed Earth and Mary? It is no other than the Creative Power of God (Isa. 48:13, Isa. 45:7-12) which is no other than His Word (John 1:1-3). So how did this Creative Power of God recreated Earth? Well, we can all read it in Genesis chapter 1.

First, He said “Let there be light.” And there was light and He divided the light from darkness which He called day and night. Then on the second day, He divided the waters above and under the firmament. On the third day, He divides the water from the land. And out of the land, He brings forth grass, herbs and trees. On the fourth day, God restored the greater light (Sun), the lesser light (Moon) and the stars. Then on the fifth day, out of the waters, came forth the fishes and the winged fowls. On the sixth day, the Earth bring forth the cattle, creeping creatures and all the beast of the Earth. And on that same day also, He created man after His image and likeness. And out of the dust of the ground, God formed a physical body to Adam.

This is the Creative Power of the Lord. Now, look at this picture of a snowball earth during the Ice Age period. This is probably the condition of Earth in Genesis 1:2.

And we all know what happened next. Man fell and all of humanity was tainted with sin. In our genes and our blood today, runs also the genes and the blood of the Serpent. The Earth was also cursed.

THE LAST OVERSHADOWING

I will bring you now to the overshadowing of Mary. So what really happened during the overshadowing of the Power of the Highest to Mary? Well, it is much the same as what happened to planet Earth when God overshadowed it.

We all know that according to the Songs of Solomon 4:12, a woman’s body is another kind of garden. Why it is likened to a garden? Because just like the garden, it is in their body that seeds grow and all the people that were born came from them. This is why the body of a woman is a microcosm of the planet Earth.

Now I want you to look at this photo of a human egg cell before it is fertilized by a human sperm cell.

The above photo is just like the condition of Earth in Genesis 1:2 after Satan and his demons destroyed Earth. The Earth is without form and void of life and is surrounded by water much like that egg cell. Then the Spirit of God hovers over it just like a sperm cell. Then the overshadowing of the creative power of God restored Earth to its life-giving condition. The plants, trees, fishes, birds and animals all came from Earth. The sinless body of the first Adam was even made from it.

Yes, the human egg cell is actually the exact representation of planet Earth. This is why in our science class, often we are always using an egg to demonstrate the different parts of the Earth just like in this photo below:

So based on what God did to Earth during the first overshadowing, what did the Power of the Highest do to Mary during the last overshadowing? Did God create both sperm cells and egg cells out of nothing and put them inside Mary’s womb? Did God create a fetus or a zygote or an embryo out of nothing and put them inside Mary? If this is what happened to Mary, then this is not what God had done upon the Earth. This foolish doctrine is not overshadowing at all.

You might also ask: “So you mean, God created a sperm cell to fertilize Mary’s egg?”

This is actually what others are thinking. This kind of thinking is also far from the truth. Did you see something like a sperm cell that fertilized the planet Earth during the first overshadowing? Or did the Spirit of God Himself fertilize the planet Earth? Remember that nothing was created by God to be added to planet Earth in order for it to bring forth life. God just restored the planet to its former life-giving condition. All the raw material that was needed to create all that is on Earth: the fishes, the birds, the trees, the plants, the beast, every creeping thing, the cattles and the physical body of Adam did not come from nothing, instead, all of them came from Earth itself. The first thing that God only did was first to shine His light upon Earth.

The same is true of what happened to the egg cell of Mary. God did not create a sperm cell to fertilize it. Remember that according to Paul in Galatian 4:4, the body of our Lord Jesus is solely and purely MADE OF A WOMAN. And in Luke 1:42, we have read that the Body of our Lord is the “FRUIT OF THE WOMB OF MARY”. It did not say “The fruit of Mary’s womb and a sperm cell made by God”.

IN SUMMARY, Mary’s egg cell is just like the condition of planet Earth after Satan and his demons have destroyed it. Mary’s egg cell is also tainted with sins because the serpent’s venom was in it. It was void of life. After the fall of humankind, all of the egg cells produced by women are tainted with sin. But then the Power of the Highest (Word), was introduced into it and its light shines upon it and extinguishes its darkness (serpent’s venom) so that it gives forth life. So all in all, what our Lord God did to the egg cell of Mary was introduce His creative power (Word) upon it and it was then restored to its original condition just like the condition of the egg cell of Eve before the fall. Then out of that egg was made the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ – a totally sinless body just like the first Adam

Out of that egg cell, came forth the TREE OF LIFE which is our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the TREE OF LIFE that was just temporarily hidden to humans through the flaming sword and the Cherubims (Gen. 3:24). But was then restored to us so that we might partake of that TREE OF LIFE.

This is also the reason why our Lord Jesus Christ is called the Last Adam (1 Cor. 15:45) and not the “New Adam”. This is because our Lord Jesus Christ actually came from the lineage of the First Adam. And just like the First Adam who although in a physical body, He has also no sin and has Eternal Life. If the body of the first Adam was taken from Earth during the first overshadowing, the body of the last Adam also was taken from the egg cell (Earth) during the last overshadowing.

IN FACT, if you are just a keen reader of the Bible, you will notice that the first mention of the Spirit of God in the Old Testament is in Genesis 1:2. It is when the Spirit of God overshadowed Earth. While in the New Testament, the first mention also of the Spirit of God is in Matthew 1:18 which is also when the Spirit of God overshadowed Mary. Isn’t this that God is showing us an obvious connection between these two overshadowings? Just as the Holy Spirit overshadowed upon Earth that brings forth light, so is when the Spirit overshadowed Mary that brings forth the Lord Jesus, the true Light of the world. The first overshadowing is the type and shadow that points us to what was to come who is our Lord Jesus.

MARY’S CONCEPTION

So this is what it means by the phrase “a virgin shall conceive” and “she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” The egg cell of Mary was fertilized by the Word. Just like what happened to planet Earth. This is why the Bible called Mary the “Mother of Jesus” because Jesus’ Body (His humanity) came from Mary. It is solely and purely made of a woman. While Jesus’ Divinity is from God that’s why our Lord is also called “the child of the Holy Ghost” (Mat. 1:18). We also call Earth “Mother Earth” because the body of Adam was made from it and all of us (our physical bodies) are solely and purely made from it.

Now, I want you to look at this photo below.

This photo gives us an idea about what happens to the fertilized egg cell during the first 7 days of pregnancy. It started when the sperm cell fertilized the egg on day 1 (Conception) and starts its travel through the fallopian tube that ended when it reaches the Uterus on day 6. It then rested on its lining on day 7. This resting of the blastocyst (fertilized egg) in the lining of the Uterus is called Implantation which is after attaching to it, also starts the growth spurt of the embryo.

Have you seen how this process is very much the same as the 7-day recreation of Earth in Genesis 1? I hope you did. This is what happens during the recreation when after the Spirit of God overshadowed upon the Earth, it then divides (division of light and darkness, day and night, water above and water below, seas and land, water and fishes, water and birds, land and trees, land and animals) just like the rapid division of the fertilized egg from the start of conception up to its rest to the lining of the Uterus. One would be blind enough not to see these. You just need to soar high and open your eagle eyes to see these things.

This is also what happens to the egg cell of Mary during Mary’s conception. Rapid divisions happened on it after the overshadowing of Power of the Highest (Word). Then it brings forth the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

SOME UNDISPUTABLE BIBLICAL TRUTHS ABOUT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BEING 100% HUMAN FROM THE LINEAGE OF ADAM

I hope by this time, you now see what really happens during the overshadowing of the Word to the egg cell of Mary. Can you still say that God created a fetus, or a zygote, or an embryo out of nothing and put it inside Mary’s womb? If until now you are still clinging to that doctrine, then I can do nothing anymore about it. But I hope you have time to look at these undisputable truths also about the Humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1. JESUS IS FROM THE LOINS OF DAVID ACCORDING TO THE FLESH

Acts 2:30 “Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the FRUIT OF HIS LOINS, ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne”

Rom. 1:3 “Concerning HIS SON JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, WHICH WAS MADE OF THE SEED OF DAVID ACCORDING TO THE FLESH”

2 Cor. 5:16 “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.”

Romans 9:5 Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them is traced the human ancestry of Christ, WHO IS GOD OVER ALL, forever praised! Amen.

Actually, even without knowing all those things I have written above, these four verses alone telling us that our Lord Jesus is the fruit of the loins of King David ACCORDING TO THE FLESH should be more than enough to believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is made from the egg cell of Mary! Because is there any other interpretation of this than the literal and crystal clear interpretation that our Lord Jesus is from the flesh and loins of King David? These verses are staring directly to our face, clear as crystal, telling us that our Lord is a biological descendant of King David. But we choose to be blind as bat and ignore this in order to suit our own interpretation. 

Some ministers even interpreted the “loins and the flesh” as the “spiritual loins and flesh of David.” What foolish interpretation! Is there such things as the spiritual flesh of David? Foolishness indeed! Some have even told me that the body of our Lord did not actually come from the literal loins and flesh of David, they then give as example Eve’s body which is according to them, did not also come from the literal rib of Adam. But when asked as to what material did God used to create the body of Eve, they will answer me that God also formed the body of Eve from the dust of the ground just like what He did to Adam. Some even said that God made the body of Eve out of nothing unlike Adam which is made of dust.

Have you seen how foolish these ministers have become just to defend their foolish doctrines? But according to Genesis 2:23 contrary to what these ministers are telling us, Eve is the “bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh” of Adam. Now, it will be so foolish of you to think that this is spiritual bone and spiritual flesh.

Another argument why many will not accept the above Scriptures that our Lord Jesus is a biological descendant of David according to the flesh is because they contend that our Lord is not from the line of David. For them, our Lord is not from the tribe of Juda but from the tribe of Levi that’s why He cannot be a biological descendant of David. How are these people came up with this hilarious and false assumption is because of their misinterpretation of these verses:

Luke 1:5 “There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.”

Luke 1:36 “And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

In Luke 1:5, we have known that Elisabeth is the daughter of Aaron which is from the tribe of Levi. It is clear from this verse that Elizabeth is from the tribe of Levi and not from the tribe of Juda. Now, in Luke 1:36, it is said that Elisabeth is the cousin of Mary. This is where the confusion of most of the believers starts. For how can Mary be from the line of David whose tribe is Juda if her cousin Elisabeth is from the tribe of Levi? Well, one will only be confused by this if you will not dig deeper into this.

The word “cousin” used in Luke 1:36 is actually a mistranslation. The exact Greek on this is “syngenēs” which means “relative or kin.” The New King James version has even corrected this mistranslation of the King James Version. According to New King James version:

“Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.”

So Elisabeth was actually NOT a cousin of Mary but her relative. We don’t know exactly whether they are close or far relatives.  There are many possibilities. Again, we are called Bible believers not assumption believers because we believe in the Bible and not in the assumptions of men. What was clear to us is that, according to Luke 3:23-38, Mary is from the tribe of Juda while Elisabeth is from the tribe of Levi (Luke 1:5). That’s crystal clear! Let’s just stick to what the Bible is telling us because it is never wrong.

This issue was even settled to us by Mary herself after angel Gabriel told her that she will going to conceive the son of David that she answered him in Luke 1:34:

“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”

See? The only problem of Mary here is that, she knows no man (she is a virgin). Being not in the line of David is not her problem. This means that she is a descendant of King David.

2. OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS THE SEED OF THE WOMAN

Gen. 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

In this verse, two seeds are mentioned: the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. We all believe that the seed of the serpent mentioned in this verse is a biological offspring of the serpent. But why when it comes to the seed of a woman, many contend that it is not a literal/biological seed of the woman? By doing this, many became inconsistent with the understanding of the Word.

But the opposite is the truth. The seed of the woman is also a literal/biological offspring of the woman. This seed of the woman is actually no other than our Lord Jesus Who is a literal/biological offspring of Mary. He is made of a woman. His physical body is purely from the woman. He is the One who bruised the head of the serpent in mount Calvary.

3. EVE WAS CALLED “THE MOTHER OF ALL LIVING”

Gen. 3:20 “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”

Eve’s original name is not “Eve” but “Woman.” But then, after what happened to her and the serpent, Adam changed her name to “Eve” which means “the mother of all living.” Why is the change? This is because all that will be born of a woman is from Eve. All human beings have the genetic make-up of Eve. Eve will be the mother of all of them. When the Bible says “all,” it means there is no exception. Even the last Adam, our Lord Jesus Christ, will have the DNA of Eve since He is also born of a woman. If our Lord was created out of nothing, then Eve is not the mother of all living at all.

4. OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS OUR KINSMAN REDEEMER

If our Lord Jesus Christ has no biological connection with us, then He is not our Kinsman Redeemer. And this is what the ministers who preach that our Lord Jesus was made from nothing inside the womb of Mary are telling us. That our Lord is not our Kinsman and He has no connection with us. That He is not a biological descendant of Adam and He is not a part of the human race we belong to. For them, He is neither a Jew nor a Gentile. He is not related to us in any aspect. For them, He is completely a new race of humans. By these, they are telling us that our Lord Jesus Christ is NOT our Kinsman Redeemer. I’m just wondering, are these ministers still waiting for a Kinsman Redeemer to be born?

Do you now see how dangerous is this unbiblical doctrine bout our Lord Jesus being made out of nothing? It completely takes us away from the truth that our Lord Jesus Christ is our Kinsman Redeemer and that we are no longer waiting for a Kinsman to be born!

Some of these ministers will still contend: “But Jesus although not made from the egg cell of Mary and was made from nothing, became our kinsman when He was sustained and develop by the nutrients provided by the body of Mary inside her womb!”

These ministers are funny. They think that if a human fetus is put and was developed in the womb of a monkey, it will make the fetus to be a monkey! Oh come on ministers! You are better than this. That human fetus inside the womb of a monkey will never become a monkey even after it is born! It will be still a human! It is still not related to a monkey in whatsoever aspect.

But the opposite of this is the truth: Our Lord Jesus Christ is our kin. He came from the Adamic race just like us for He is made from the egg cell of Mary. He is our KINSMAN REDEEMER. The law of the Kinsman Redeemer, as portrayed in the book of Ruth, illustrates the necessity of a redeemer to be a kinsman (biological relative) of those he is redeeming.

Here are the biblical proofs that our Lord Jesus Christ is our kin:

1. He is a descendant of Adam (Luke 3:23-38)

2. He is a descendant of Abraham (Mat. 1:1; Gal. 3:16)

3. He is a descendant of Jacob (Num. 24:17)

4. He is from the tribe of Judah (Hebrews 7:14, Rev. 5:5)

5. He is a Jew (John 4:22).

6. He is the descendant of Jesse, the father of David (Isa. 11:1-2)

7. He came from the loins of King David according to the flesh (Acts 2:30, Rom. 1:3)

8. He is the offspring of King David that came out from King David’s own body (2 Sam. 7:12-13)

9. He is a descendant of David (John 7:42, 2 Tim. 2:8)

10. He is the Heir of the throne of David (Luke 1:32)

11. He is made of a woman and the fruit of Mary’s womb (Gal. 4:4, Luke 1:42)

If by these many proofs you cannot still see that Lord Jesus Christ is our biological kin, then I can’t help you anymore.

QUESTION AND ANSWER

1. If Mary’s egg cell was used in the conception of Jesus, Jesus could not be perfect because He would inherit the sin of Mary through her egg cell.

This is actually the main reason why many believe that Mary is just a surrogate mother of Jesus and that her egg cell was not used to create the body of our Lord. They believe that the sin in the egg cell will be inherited. But we have already discussed above why this is not possible and invalid. Based on the overshadowing of the planet Earth, the Spirit of God hovers over it just like a sperm cell. Then the overshadowing of the creative power of God restored Earth to its life-giving condition. The plants, trees, fishes, birds and the animals all came from Earth. The sinless body of the first Adam was even made from it.

The same is true in the last overshadowing. The Holy Spirit came to Mary and the Power of the Highest (Word) overshadowed the egg cell of Mary. Then it extinguishes the darkness (serpent’s venom) on it so that it gives forth life. So all in all, what our Lord God did to the egg cell of Mary was introduce His creative power (Word) upon it and then it was restored to its original condition just like the condition of the egg cell of Eve before the fall. This condition has the life-giving power of the Tree of Life. It can produce sinless offspring when fertilized by the Word. It was in this restored egg cell that the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ was made – a totally sinless body just like the first Adam.

Consider this also:

During the Rapture of the Bride, our Celestial Body (Word Body) will be put on (clothed with, sink into) to our sinful and corrupted mortal body (1 Cor. 15:53-54). Our Word Body will then “sink into” our physical(mortal) body. Will our bodies still be sinners when that happens? Will it be still corrupted when that happens? Or will it be completely free from sin and is incorruptible? Think about it.

2. Can God be defiled?

If our God overshadowed the egg cell of Mary which is sinful, will it not defile Him?

Well, we should ask ourselves: Is there anything that can defile God? Can darkness defile light? If light is applied to darkness, will darkness engulf light or darkness will always disappear?

Many ASSUMED that If God (Logos) used the imperfect egg cell of Mary in becoming a man (Logos became flesh John 1:14), the resulting product, our Lord Jesus Christ, must be defiled and imperfect too. If this is true, then during the first overshadowing, if the Planet Earth is still imperfect after the Spirit of the Lord overshadowed it, then the body of Adam should be sinful too because it was made from the dust of the Earth. But we all know that Adam’s body is perfect and sinless.  

The Bible is clear. Our Lord Jesus Christ just like Adam before the fall, is perfect and sinless.

Our Lord Jesus was in the womb of Mary for 9 months which is a sinful womb. Did it defile Him? He sucked the milk on Mary breast when He was an infant, ingesting Mary’s sinful Genes and DNA in the process. Did it make Him sinful? You see? These people are contending that Mary’s egg is sinful that’s why it cannot be used by God. They are protecting the body of Jesus not to be defiled. But they are not considering Mary’s sinful womb, milk, genes and DNA that was ingested by our Lord! 

Consider this:

When our Lord Jesus was here on earth, He chose to be with the sinners and the sick. The Pharisees and religious leaders of His day reproved Him because Jewish religious laws and tradition strictly prohibit any Jew to mingle and be with the known sinners and the sick. The reason for this is for a Jew to avoid being defiled by sin and to prevent contamination and the spread of infection of diseases. But why did our Lord Jesus choose to be with the sinners and the sick?  Was He defiled by sin and infected by the diseases whenever He is in contact with the sinners and the sick? Let’s read this:

Luke 5:31-32 “And Jesus answering said unto them, they that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Our Lord Jesus was never infected by any disease despite living and mingling with various sick people. And He was never defiled by sin though He lived and interacted with all kinds of sinners in His earthly life. What happened is the OPPOSITE. The sinners were forgiven. The sick were made whole!

When a woman with a blood issue touched the garment of Jesus, what happened? The woman was made whole! Did the sickness of the woman defile or infect Jesus? Of course not!

It is just like putting the light in the darkness. Will darkness engulf light or will the light extinguish darkness?

Final Verdict: God cannot be defiled by anything. That is the Truth!

3. If Jesus is from Mary, why did Matthew trace him to be the son of Joseph in Matthew chapter 1?

It is because in the Bible, tracing the heir of the throne of David is from the Male side (Joseph) and not from the mother. This is why in Matthew chapter 1, most of the names mentioned are males. We know that our Lord Jesus Christ is not a biological son of Joseph but an adopted son. According to the Bible, and adopted son is eligible to be the heir of the throne.

Consider the case of Moses. Moses is eligible to be the heir to the throne of Pharaoh.

Hebrews 12:24-27

“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.”

Moses is an adopted grandchild of Pharaoh. He is not a biological grandchild of Pharaoh. But he is eligible for the throne. And he refused it.

So this is the reason why Matthew traced our Lord to Joseph. Matthew wanted to show us that our Lord Jesus is the heir to the throne of David. Anyway, Matthew has a Lion anointing. Here, he is showing us the Kingship of our Lord Jesus.

On the other hand, Luke traced our Lord Jesus from Mary to Adam. This is to show to us that our Lord is a biological son of Mary and that just like us, He is also a human being Who came from the lineage of Adam. Unlike Matthew, Luke has a Man anointing. Luke wanted to show us the humanity of our Lord. Now, the law of adoption would not work here. You cannot adopt a monkey to become human. You cannot adopt a dog to become man. To be human is only possible by being born in the human race. Nothing more, nothing less! This is actually so clear. Mary must be the biological mother of the Lord Jesus for the Lord to be human that came from the lineage of Adam.

The Apostle John has also a different anointing. He has the Eagle anointing. John wanted to show us the Divinity of our Lord. That our Lord Jesus is God. This is why he traced our Lord with the Word. And John said in John 1:14:

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

The “Word was made flesh” means the Word incarnated to a human flesh. A flesh made of a woman. And this incarnation is not just a one-time event. It’s a process. It started in the womb of Mary up to the river Jordan when the Lord was baptized by John the Baptize.

Mark on the other hand, has a Calf anointing. We cannot read in the book of Mark that he traced the ancestry of the Lord. He wanted to show us that our Lord is a slave, a Sacrificial Lamb ready to be sacrificed for us. If you are a slave, there’s no need for someone to trace your ancestry.

So there it is! The four Gospel writers have shown us that in every aspect, our Lord Jesus Christ has complied with all the requirements required from the Messiah! That the Messiah should be a King this He had complied through Joseph. That the Messiah should be 100 percent human from the lineage of Adam this He had also complied through the egg cell of Mary. That the Messiah should be 100 percent God this He had also complied for He is the Word incarnated in flesh. And lastly, that He is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world. All of this He has complied! Praise be the Name of the Lord!

 4. But denominations are teaching this also, that Jesus if from the egg cell of Mary.

Just because the denomination is teaching it, doesn’t mean it’s already wrong. Denominations also taught that Jesus is the son of God and the Messiah. Does this mean that they are wrong on this?

If every teaching that will be taught by denominations will be wrong, what if they will also teach the doctrine of the Serpent Seed? Will it make the doctrine wrong? Think about it.

REASONS WHY IT’S FOOLISHNESS TO BELIEVE THAT THE BODY OF OUR LORD WAS MADE FROM NOTHING

Based on the discussions with other ministers on different platforms, majority of them believe that the Lord’s body is made from nothing in Mary’s womb. Let’s then if this doctrine can hold water. Below are the questions I want to ask to those who believe this: 

1. If God made the fetus or the zygote or the embryo from nothing and put it inside the womb of Mary, then He will contradict His Word in Genesis 2:1.

The belief that the body of our Lord Jesus Christ was created from nothing, is actually not possible. It will contradict the every fundamental truth in Genesis 2:1 that says:

“Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.”

This verse is telling us that Heaven and Earth are already complete (finished). This means that if God will create something that is physical, the raw materials to create that something is already present on Earth, for Earth is already finished. HE WILL NOT ADD OR SUBTRACT ANYTHING FROM IT. He will use things from Earth as raw materials to create. He will not create anything out of nothing because Earth is already complete. If He creates something out of nothing, then He is adding something to Earth. If He does not use a material coming from Earth, then this means that Earth is not yet finished. This will not only contradict Genesis 2:1, it will also contradict Genesis 2:3-4 which is the very reason why God rested on the seventh day. And God can never contradict His Word. That’s why creating something out of nothing is something that God can never do after Genesis 2:1.

This is the reason why there is not a time in the Bible that you can read that God created something out of nothing after Genesis 2:1. Whenever God creates something, He will always use something from Earth as His raw material.

When God created Eve, He used Adam as raw material, not out of nothing. When God wanted to create a serpent, He needed the rod of Moses (Exo. 4:2-3). When God created manna for Israel, He used the dew of the morning (Exo. 16:14-35) which is the reason why manna should not be kept until the morning of the next day. When God wanted to give a widowed woman a barrel of meal and a cruse of oil that would never be gone out of meal and oil until rain came to Israel, He used the remaining meal and oil in that woman’s house, not out of nothing (1 Kings 17:14-16). When God wanted to multiply the oil of the poor widow who came to Elisha for help, He used the remaining pot of oil to fill out many other empty pots so that the poor widow could pay her creditors (2 Kings 4:2-7). All of these did not come from nothing.

The same thing happened during the days of our Lord Jesus Christ. On His first miracle that He performed at the wedding in Cana, He needs water as raw material to create wine (John 2:1-11). In order to feed the five thousand, He needs five loaves of bread and two fishes from a little boy (Mat. 14:13-21; Mark 6:31-44; Luke 9:12-17; John 6:1-14). Even Satan knows this. When he tried to tempt our Lord to create bread to ease His hunger, Satan offered Him stone to use as raw material to create bread:

Matt. 4:3 “And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.”

Again, there is NOT a time in the Bible after Genesis 2:1 that God created something out of nothing. If He does, He will contradict His Word in Genesis 2:1-4 that of course, can never happen. It is therefore foolishness and unbiblical to believe that God created the body of our Lord Jesus Christ from nothing. Something on Earth was used to create it. So what do you think is the raw material that God used to create the body of the Lord Jesus Christ?

2. If God made the fetus or the zygote or the embryo from nothing and put it inside the womb of Mary, then how old it is it and does it have an umbilical cord?  

If it’s true that God made the body of our Lord from nothing, they need to reconcile first among themselves if it is really a fetus, or a zygote, or an embryo or both sperm cell and egg cell that were put in the womb of Mary. If it is a fetus or an embryo, then how old is it when it was put in Mary’s womb?

If it was a fetus that was made out of nothing and was put in the womb of Mary, does it have its own umbilical cord? Because umbilical cords are only produced during the implantation period. If it’s a fetus where did it get its umbilical cord? But of course, they will answer you: “It is also made out of nothing!” What sheer foolishness.

3. If God made both sperm cell and egg cell or a fetus or the zygote or the embryo from nothing and put it inside the womb of Mary, then Mary did not conceive.

If Mary is just a surrogate mother, then Mary did not conceive. Making Isaiah 7:14 and Luke 1:31 false prophesies. In surrogacy, the surrogate mother does not conceive.

Well, they would conjecture that God fused the newly created sperm cell and the newly created egg cell inside the womb of Mary just to justify their doctrine, it is still problematic. Granted that the fusion of sperm cell and egg cell was done inside the womb of the surrogate mother, still the surrogate mother does not conceive the aforesaid zygote. because the egg cell does not come from her. You see, if Mary was just a surrogate mother, she did not conceive Jesus. She just bore a son (Jesus). But the Spirit of God foreseeing that there would arise in the future a doctrine denying Mary’s true motherhood of Jesus in His humanity, made sure that it is written in the Scripture that a virgin does not only bear a son, she also conceived!

4. If God made both sperm cell and egg cell or a fetus or the zygote or the embryo from nothing and put it inside the womb of Mary, then why not make an adult Jesus?

People who believe that the body of our Lord is made from nothing are also teaching that our Lord is not our Kin or is not related to Mary biologically because he is not made from her egg cell. He is totally another race of humans. Then my questions are: If the involvement of Mary is not needed for the biological aspects of our Lord, then why suffer Mary to carry our Lord in her womb and bear Him? Why not create a fully adult Messiah to save us if He need not to be related to Mary biologically?

To answer this question, many ministers today had reason this out: “Well, if God will do that, He will create a scene on Earth. In order to avoid this, Jesus must be born of Mary for the world to see that He is from the line of David although He is not really a biological descendant of David.”

Look how absurd these ministers had become! They are making God a great liar. For them, God is only making a “drama” for us in order to avoid a scene. They are telling us that God is only using Mary just so He cannot create a scene by making an adult Jesus Christ.

Can you see how foolish is this unbiblical doctrine? Actually, I still have so many questions for those who believe this, but it will only make this article longer if I will list them all. These three are enough and they should ask themselves these questions.

CONCLUSION

Just like an egg cell that keeps dividing after it is fertilized, the Word of God will also make divisions among us. For the Word is sharper than any two-edged sword that divides (Heb. 4:12).

This revelation will surely divide the believers. Those who believe that Mary’s egg cell was used to create the body of the Lord Jesus will be separated by God from those who contend to the traditional belief that the Lord’s body came from nothing. This is an inevitable truth.

This is just like what happened to Earth during the first overshadowing. The light was separated from darkness, day from night, the water above from the water below, land from water, fishes from water, plants from land, animals from land until ultimately, the separation of the ultimate creation of God, Adam who was separated from the dust of the ground. Yes, the word of God will keep separating us. Until the ultimate Man was separated, His Bride, Who is worthy for the Rapture.

The Earth is now travailing of birth pains because this ultimate separation is about to happen. She is about to give birth to the ultimate creation of God – the separation of His Bride.

One minister even told me not to be overzealous about this because it would bring a separation among the believers. I also remember that I, brother Andrew Murray Durano and brother Stephen Martin who are preaching about this were called false ministers, false teachers and were ridiculed by not only the false ministers but also by the true servants of God. But imagine if we will just keep this to ourselves and come the time that we will face our Lord and He demands us about what we did to the revelation He had given to us. Can we answer Him “Lord we just keep it to ourselves because we don’t want that the believers will separate because of this.” What do you think will the Lord do to us? I don’t even want to imagine it.

I also remember that brother William Branham had taught us three major doctrines of which he made many double statements. These are the following:

1. The 70^th Week of Daniel

2. The Soul Doctrine

3. The Doctrine on the Body of the Lord

The first major doctrine had already created big separations among the Endtime Message believers. Before 1963, Bro. Branham preached that the 70^th week of Daniel is composed of 7 years. But after 1963, he revised it and said that it is only composed of 3 and a half years. Many believe the latter. But we all know what is the truth about this.

The same is true with the Soul Doctrine. Many groups have been formed because of this. Before 1963, Bro. Branham preached that the spirit is the center of the human being and that our soul is cleansed by the Word. But after 1963, he again take back his word and preached that the soul is the center and that the soul should be changed and not only be cleansed. This is the reason why the “Changing of Soul” Doctrine was formulated. Just like on the 70^th Week of Daniel, many also believe the latter preaching. But again, we all know which one is Biblical.

Now, here we are on the last separation – on the doctrine about the Body of our Lord. Before 1963, Bro. Branham preached that Mary’s egg cell was the raw material used by God to form the body of our Lord. But after 1963, he again revised it and preached that the egg cell of Mary was never used to create the Body of the Lord.

For the past years, most of the believers accepted the latter for the same reason that is written in this article. Most did not question it. But during these past 5 years, the Word is shedding light on this topic and more and more believers are questioning their beliefs about this. And the Lord is generous enough to reveal to us His Word about this topic.
