Greater is He that is in Me

1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

If there is one verse that born-again Christians should always remember, it is this verse. This is the Absolute Truth. There is nothing in this world that is greater than the Spirit of Christ that is residing in us. That Spirit Who dwells in you is the same Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead! It conquers death. The same Spirit who heals the blinds, crippled, leprous and the sick is the same Spirit Who can also heal your sickness.

The Spirit of the Lord is far stronger than Satan or any of his minions in this world. This Spirit of Wisdom and Strength is far greater than any of the problems that Satan has thrown at you. The same Spirit that have overcome the world is dwelling in you, that’s why you will also overcome (John 16:33). That’s why we can boldly say, “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world!”
