John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
There are so many people in this world who are so busy in doing nothing. They are the people whose life has no Christ in them. Remember that the verse above told us that without Christ, we can do nothing – we are doing nothing. We can only do something if Christ is in us. For He alone can do something. All our works are nothing if it is not the works of Christ. IT IS ONLY THE WORKS OF CHRIST THROUGH US THAT HAVE ETERNAL VALUE.
Someday, all of our works will be tested in fire (1 Cor. 3:13-15). Those that will abide are only those things that have eternal value because they are done by the ONE Who is eternal. Everything else will become nothing. Everything else is nothing. I hope, you are spending most of your time here doing something instead of nothing.
