Rev 2:10 “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life.“
Based on the verse above, there are four things that we should remember when experiencing trials or testings:
1. Do not be afraid.
-This is the most important thing to remember. This is the command of the Lord to us Who have conquered this world.
2. The Devil will put you to test.
-We have an enemy that does not like us to grow spiritually. But he can only do what God allows him to do. He doesn’t have a freehand to just do whatever He likes.
3. God is still in control.
-With the permission of God, Satan tested Job. This was a very difficult test but one that was, in the end, very beneficial for Job. Our Lord can turn into our own good those evil things that have been brought to us by the enemy.
4. Be faithful and you will receive a reward.
-In every trials you have overcome, there will always be a reward. We are still winners in this life even in testings.
