False doctrines, crafted by Satan, often sow seeds of division within the church. In navigating doctrinal differences, it’s crucial to discern the truth amidst conflicting teachings.

In the second half of the Book of Revelation, contradictory doctrines can lead to confusion. The division caused by the misinterpretation of Revelation 12 in 2012 and the ongoing discord regarding Revelation 13’s Mark of the Beast exemplify the impact of false teachings.

Lucifer’s strategy revolves around undermining the concept of truth itself. By fostering an atmosphere where truth is considered subjective or nonexistent, he can create confusion and disunity among believers.

In times of doctrinal confusion, it becomes paramount for believers to equip themselves with a solid understanding of the truth. Recognizing that there is indeed an absolute truth is the first step toward spiritual maturity.

When confronted with truths that challenge preconceived notions, it’s natural to feel offended. However, this discomfort is an integral part of spiritual growth, akin to the pains of growth spurts experienced in the natural world.

Understanding that offense can either break or make an individual is crucial. Spiritual maturity hinges on the willingness to accept uncomfortable truths rather than avoiding them to maintain a shallow, unchallenging fellowship.

In building a fellowship, it’s essential to have a foundation grounded in truth. Shallow connections based solely on personal preferences or the avoidance of offense lack the stability needed for genuine, enduring fellowship.

Fellowship isn’t merely about companionship; it’s a shared commitment to the truth. Just as Abraham sought a city with foundations, believers should seek a fellowship grounded in the unchanging truth of God’s Word.

The Lord, in His patience and love, calls believers to accept uncomfortable truths. This acceptance is necessary for spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of His plans and purposes.

Challenges, even those posed by uncomfortable truths, are integral to growth. The Lord desires a mature Bride capable of accepting and internalizing the truths that may initially cause discomfort.
