Daniel 6:5 “Finally these men said, ‘We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.’”
So here was Daniel… a man who shone so brightly that other men were jealous and decided to try and put that light out. But try as they might, these men cannot find any fault in Daniel!
Daniel is a good example of what Paul speaks about: “In everything you do, stay away from complaining and arguing, so that no one can speak a word of blame against you. You are to live clean, innocent lives as children of God in a dark world full of crooked and perverse people. Let your lives shine brightly before them” (Phil 2:14-15 NLT).
And as Peter says: “If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name” (1 Pet 4:15-16).
