Rom. 12:11 “Work hard and do not be lazy. Serve the Lord with a heart full of devotion.”

You are called to be a servant. To be a servant means serving the Lord. Lazy people cannot serve and doesn’t want to serve. They cannot become a servant if they continue to be lazy. You are not qualified to be a minister of God if you are lazy. The Lord called us to the ministry to do something, not to do nothing. How can we expect great ministry from our Lord, when we are even too lazy to read our Bible?

When God called David, he was a shepherd. When God called Moses, he was also a shepherd. When God called Samuel, he was serving in the Tabernacle. When God called Elisha, he was plowing the ground. When the Lord called His disciples, some of them were fishing, others doing their jobs. Before these people were called, our Lord trained them first to be servants and not to be lazy. Our Lord Himself was a carpenter before He starts His ministry. Only in the hard workers is the Lord being glorified much.
