Galatians 3:22 “But the scripture hath concluded all under sin that the promised by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.”
We are saved BY THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST and not by the faith in Jesus Christ. Many people are again misquoting this verse. Faith OF Jesus Christ is different from the faith IN Jesus Christ. Many have faith in Jesus Christ but only those who have the faith OF Jesus Christ are saved. Even the demons also believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, but they don’t have the faith of our Lord. We can have many kinds of faith, but only the FAITH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST can save us.
We must also remember that this faith comes from the Lord alone. He is the author and the finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2). That’s why being saved is not of our doings. It is not of our works that any of us can boast (Eph. 2:8-9).
