The God of Solutions

Gen. 6:11-12: “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.”

The damage done by the fall of Man was so deep that it made the whole human race and the whole earth corrupt and full of violence. With regards to this, I was often asked this question: “If all human race was tainted with sin and is corrupt, why did not God just eradicate all human beings during the flood of Noah and just create another human race?”

My answer is this: If God will do this and start over again, then that means total defeat for Him. It means that He cannot come up with a solution to Satan’s attack so He has been outwitted. It means that Satan won over Him. But our God is not like that. He cannot be defeated by Satan in any way. The truth is, before He even created Lucifer, He already knew that He would become Satan who would go against Him and will tempt Humans to sin. And He had already devised a solution for it. For God is a God of solutions. He is not a God of distraction and total annihilation. He is the God Who makes a way, when there seems to be no way. That’s why Satan is fighting a losing battle.
