But God Meant Them for Good

Gen. 50:20 “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

There are many things that the enemy can throw against us, but God can make them all for our good. Only believers can say this phrase: “But God meant it for good.” The unbelievers cannot say this because they don’t have God. When someone tries to hurt them, they don’t have the “but God” part. They only have the first part “you meant evil against me” then full stop. We are not talking about any religion here. We are talking about having the living Lord Jesus in your lives which makes all the difference.

Our Lord can turn into our own good those evil things that have been brought to us by Satan. Your victory in life does not depend on the evil things brought to you by Satan or by the people around you or the negative words that are spoken against you. Your victory depends upon the Lord and his will for your life! Being able to say “but God” makes all the difference. Have you learned to say this?
