Flesh and Blood Cannot enter Heaven

1Co 15:50 “I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.”

This is a straight-forward truth and a hard one: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. No matter what we do, our body which is composed of flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Man may try as he can, in all of his efforts, as long as his body is not transformed, as long as it is still in its perishable form, it cannot inherit nor enter heaven. Many have tried before. Nimrod have tried to reach heaven before, but all is to no avail. All human efforts failed. No flesh and blood can inherit it. We need to accept this truth.

Look at your body right now. Do you see flesh and blood? Yeah… sorry about it but your current body will not make it into heaven. It is an earthly, fallen body that moans, groans, wrinkles, sags and eventually just stops working all together. It then becomes worm food. But amongst that gloom there is very good news: We know that we are going to get a new body! This perishable will be imperishable. This mortal will be immortal. Praised be the name of the Lord!
