2 Cor. 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
2023 was not a “good” year for me. It was even “worse” than the pandemic years combined. I was tried in every aspect: the lust of the flesh, lust of eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16), to which I failed in each one of them. The good thing is, before I fail them, my heavenly Father comes to the rescue and that’s why I have overcome them all.
This year has taught me two things: first is that I, can do nothing with my own. I can’t overcome any trials on my own. I am weak just like a helpless child. Second is that, I have also proven that our Lord is with me. And that His strength has always proven perfect in my weaknesses. And so, I thank Him for all the hardships, the trials, the problems and the weaknesses. It was because of them, that I have known the perfect strength of my Lord. Just like what my father told me before “Cheer up! Stars shine the brightest only during the darkest night.”
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
