Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
The phrase “In the Beginning” in Genesis 1:1, is actually a single word in the original Hebrew text which is “Bereshit” (בְּרֵאשִׁית). It is composed of 6 letters divided into 5 units where the first unit uses two letters combined:
בר א ש י ת (BR-A-SH-Y-T)
ב + ר = “בר” (Bar)
א(Aleph)
ש(Shin)
י(Yod)
ת(Tav)
Now, here is the meaning of each letter in Hebrew:
Bet+Resh = means a “Son” (Bar is Aramaic for “son” e.g. Simon-Bar-Jonah or Simon the son of Jonah)
Aleph = often taken as God, strength or leader
Shin = means “consume, destroy or press”
Yod = means “hand, deed or work”
Tav = means “mark, sign or covenant”; some modern presentations also say “cross”
So within the first word of the Bible Bereshit, is actually a hidden Gospel:
Son-God-Destroyed-Hand-Cross.
Or if we will put conjunctions on this, it says:
“The Son of God will be destroyed, with His hand on the cross.”
