Mat. 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.”

If you are reading this now, that means you are alive. Some time in the past you have been born in this world, you grow and you live. Do you know why you have been given the opportunity to be born here? Because God wanted you to be a light of this world. He wanted you to be one of His champions in reflecting His light so that those who are in the darkness might be enlightened.

So please, don’t ever think that your life is not important. Don’t ever think that it is useless. Most believers today, because of the too much chaos and discomfort in this world, we long for our heavenly Promised Land. Indeed, we will go there someday. But while that does not yet come, please live your life here on earth. Live it as a gallant soldier of the Lord fulfilling the will our Master. So that when our work here is done, we might hear Him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant!”
