Psa 144:4 “Man is like a breath; his days are like a fleeting shadow.”
We are in a race (2 Tim. 4:6-8). The odd thing about this race is that, we don’t know when is the finish line. In this race, we are not racing against anyone. All of us have a different race in life. All of us have a different finish line. We are racing against ourselves and against time.
If our race is against time, according to the verse above, this race would be swift. Our Life is so short. Our days are like a swift runner that flee away… or a flower that springs up and then withers. Your life on this planet is like a shadow or a mist that appears for a little while then vanishes. All of us then to be mindful of how fleeting are our days even if the Lord is not to return. In all of these, I hope you will end well. in this race. Aim to end well.
