Do you know that the Enemy is Trembling because God is with You?

Jos. 2:9 “And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.”

In this verse, Rahab told the two spies of Joshua that the people of Jericho are really afraid of the Israelites because they heard about all the things that the Lord have done for Israel. And the crazy thing is, for 40 years, the nation Israel wandered in the wilderness because they were afraid of the inhabitants of the Promised Land. But when they get into Canaan, you see that the inhabitants have been afraid of Israel for the same amount of time! They have both been afraid for 40 years! This is crazy indeed!

This is the same for us! Oftentimes, we are too afraid of the enemy, not knowing that the enemy is actually trembling in fear of us because they know that God is with us! We should remember that the enemies of our lives, the principalities that oppose us in our walk with the Lord, have already been defeated by the risen Christ. It is just a matter of us pressing on into the things that Christ had already given us and taking those places by faith. I pray that you too will realize this.
