Faithfulness to the Lord

Rev. 17:14: “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

Those that will be raptured and will reign with our Lord someday who will be called “lords” and “kings” are those who are Called, Chosen and Faithful. Being Called and being Chosen are the doings of our Lord, we don’t have anything to contribute with that. But being FAITHFUL is another thing. This requires our participation.

Being Faithful requires the element of Time. Faithfulness can only be proven through time. There is no other way. One cannot say that he/she is a faithful Bride of the Lord unless he/she passes the test of time. This is the reason why our Lord tarries. Indeed, sometimes, the waiting is tiring, especially that we do not know when is our Lord’s return. But we must remember that we are not just waiting for someone, we are waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ Who is worth it all! And someday, He will surely come (Rev. 22:12).

For now, stay faithful to Him.
