Ruth 2:3 “And she went, and came, and gleaned in the field after the reapers: and her hap was to light on a part of the field belonging unto Boaz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.”
There are thousands of fields that Ruth can choose from to glean, but it so happened that the field that she choosed belongs to Boaz. Is it pure coincidence right? No. As Romams 8:28 told us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
What about you? How did you just happen to meet the Lord Jesus? Just pure coincidence? I think not! Behind the scenes, God drew Ruth to Boaz’s field because He had plans to use Ruth for His purpose. It’s exactly the same for us today. God is still in the business of drawing people and setting up opportunities for them to meet Him!
