He Quickened Us First

Eph 2:5 “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).”

This verse tells us that before Christ quickened us, we were dead in sins. We were made alive because Christ quickened us first. You accepted Christ because Christ FIRST accepted you. A dead person can do nothing, let alone accept Christ. You should be quickened first before you can accept Christ.

Many preachers and Pastors today tell us that we should accept Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour. Although their aim is good, but this is impossible. A dead person cannot accept Christ. Obviously, we can only accept Christ after Christ has accepted (quickened) us first. In other words, your DO comes from living in His DONE. You can only WALK after you have learned to SIT. Never forget that.
