Psa. 18:7 “The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry.”
The whole of Psalm 18 is both poetic and at the same time prophetic. The language given of the earth trembling and quaking at the anger of the Lord as He splits the Heavens and comes down to confront David’s enemies is poetic during David’s days but at the same time prophetic of what will take place during the Battle of Armageddon when the Lord Himself will actually descend to claim the earth and destroy His enemies (Rev. 19:11-16).
It is worth reading Psalm 18:6-18 with the end times in mind. Like David in his distress, the nation of Israel will also call for their Messiah to come. And come He will to save them.
