Call to Him now beloved Bride
Thy voice is hope in April drowning,
Lights glinting, mist rising on life everlasting
And as thy eyes waited upon thy Groom
I read thy gladness to wait on every season
Longingness and hungriness are gone
For thy food is every revelation
Though by now, thou art growing still
And in this world thou art a stranger
Cheer up! It’s just a truant spell
It will not wound, it will not linger.
After the anguish, after the rapture
The pounding of thy heart
Will turn into songs for my guitar
So sing for Him now beloved Bride
Wise, Queen, Nurturer and Overcomer,
Partaker of the Lamb’s Grand Marriage Supper
The nations on thy feet, the Crown of Life on thy hair
The Shout, the Voice and the Trump will be the fitful thunders
To witness these all and in the life thereafter
That thou and the Word of God will last forever!
