Mat. 20:32-33 “And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” They said to Him, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.”
This question asked by the Lord Jesus is seem like a strange question. Our Lord obviously knows what these blind men wants. Still He ask them “What do you want me to do for you?” Indeed, our Lord knows everything. He already knows what we need before we can even open our mouth. But why do you think we still need to pray to Him and ask Him? It is because our prayers reveal our heart.
Prayers determines what are the most important things to us. What do we really want. If the Lord asked you “What do you want me to do for you?” what would you ask for? Would it be something physical or spiritual? Would you ask something for yourself or someone else? Something temporal or eternal? Decide wisely.
