Isaiah 40:31 “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
The word “renew” in this verse came from the Hebrew word “khaw-laf” which means “to change for better, to grow up, change, to go on.” We can only change for the better if like an eagle, we use our wings, we exercise our faith.
Whatever we don’t use, we lose. If an eagle does not use her wings long enough, she can never use them again. She will lose it. The only way to keep her wings is to keep using them. The same way goes for our faith. Faith that is not exercised declines. And gradually, you will lose it. Revelation unsuse will lose. That is why we need to exercise our faith to grow it. As the verse above says, mount up your wings like eagles. If you cannot fly then run. If you cannot run then at least walk. In anything you do, exercise your faith.
