Joh. 14:1-3 “Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.”
If there are verses in the Bible that are full of ASSURANCE, it is no other than these verses above. The Lord Jesus is emphasizing here that we need to believe in Him when He said that He will come again for us.
His first assurance to us is “Do not let your heart be troubled.” Do you believe in God? Do you believe in The Lord Jesus Christ? Then do not let your heart be troubled! Believe that He will return for us! He go to His Father’s house because He needs first to prepare a place for us, but after that, He said that He will come again to receive us! And after that, we will never be separated from Him. Oh, what a blessed assurance indeed!
