Certainly, I Will Be with Thee

Exo. 3:12 “And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee.”

When Moses ask the Lord “Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?” The Lord answered him “Certainly I will be with thee.”

When the Lord is with you, it is enough reason that you should go and do His will. As Major Ian Thomas said “All that God demands from us is our availability. What you are is totally irrelevant – nationality-wise, money-wise, education-wise, personality-wise, and any other wise. All you need is the Lord. If He is with you, everything else is irrelevant.

You have read the lives of men like Charles Spurgeon, Dwight L. Moody, John Wesley, Watchman Nee – men whose lives have made spiritual history. They were simply men who had qualified in God’s school of failure and despair. They were men who came to the end of themselves and discovered that apart from God, they are nothing. You too can go down in the annals of spiritual history when you realized that all you need is the Lord and Him alone is enough.”

In this new year, remember that the Lord will certainly be with you just like He is with you last year.
