How the Lord will Judge the Nations

Joel 3:2 “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”

Based on this verse, the nations will be judge by God according to these two criteria:

1. How we treat God’s people (the Jews)

2. If we are dividing God’s land (the land of Israel)

The world is currently against the move of the Jews trying to go back to the land of Israel. They want them to remain scatter around the world. World governments also through the European Union and United Nations, are trying to divide up Israel in the present Israeli-Palestinian “piece process’. I mean “peace process”. They puzzle long and hard over how they can have two states side by side and who is going to get what. Biblically speaking, the land is GOD’s (Lev. 25:23) and based on the verse above, He don’t want His land to be divided! I bet EU and UN haven’t taken Him into consideration!

The interesting thing is, Joel here has given us a picture of how God judges the nations at the end of the age. We find that God is very interested in how the nations treat His people and who is dividing HIS land and He is judging the nations because of it. EU and UN should listen and all those who are against the Jews returning back to their country.
