Eze. 37:21 “Then say to them, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land.”
Today, more and more Christians, ignorant of Bible prophecy, are against the Jews returning to Israel. The “boycott Israel” voices are rising even among the Church! I recently had a conversation with a believer who is against the Jews claiming the land of Israel. This brother is pro Palestine and anti-Jews. I explained to him the background of the conflict in Israel and the Bible prophecy concerning it. I also gave him the following quote from Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu:
“If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel.”
He said that he didn’t agree with the quote. “Benjamin was wrong,” he said. “If he will only give lands to Palestinians, he may find peace he has never known.” But the fact is, in 2005, Israel gave Gaza to Palestinians with the goal of attaining peace with them. But from 2006 until today, Hamas has just been using Gaza to send rockets to Israel. They don’t want peace at all even if you will give them lands. Of course, what would you expect from people whose main aim is the following quote from their prophet Muhammad:
“The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.”
I understand that those in the world who aren’t familiar with the Bible would not ‘get’ the conflict. But there isn’t any excuse for Christians to remain ignorant.
