Isaiah 65:18 “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing And her people for gladness.”
Certainly, the fulfillment of this verse above is not today. Jerusalem is not a city of Joy today. It is not a city of rejoicing. If you go to Jerusalem today, these are not the conditions that you will find. It has the Islamic mosque on the site where the Jewish temple used to be and it has the wailing wall where people are weeping. Certainly, it is not a city of rejoicing.
But God is true to His Word. And certainly also, the verse above will be fulfilled. Jerusalem will become a city of joy when the King of kings sits on His throne in his city. God cannot be thwarted in His word. He will fulfill what He has promised to Israel and He will fulfill what He has promised to Jerusalem.
