Let me bring joy and may forever be lonely

Let me love without being loved
Let me be faithful and may be forsaken
Let me break that I may be a blessing
Let me be poured out like incense sweet smelling

For this is the life You have journeyed on Earth
A life full of sorrow, tears and hurt
Let this be my life also dear Lord
To suffer as long as it is Your will

In all of these oh Lord,
Let it be that You are my only reward
And if someday I will make it through
Remind me that these are all because of You
