After you are Strengthen in Spirit, the Enemy will Attack

Exo. 17:8 “Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim”.

As soon as Israelites finished drinking from the rock (meaning filled with the spirit), they were attacked by Amalek! The only way Israel could win this battle was for Moses to die to his ability to win the battle! When his arms were raised to heaven in an attitude of surrender, Amalek was defeated.

This can be how it is with us. As soon as God has come through and we have had a victory, the enemy is there to attack us. Taking God’s glory and thoroughly proud of its latest achievements, the enemy would soon have us believe that we are the source of our own strength and victory. We must not be deceived by this. We must realize that God is our only strength and the reason for our victories.
